Workshop Assistants

Are you doing a arts degree or a social work / care qualification - but you'd like some regular real-world experience in a community setting?

What Our Volunteers Do

Workshop Assistants

Supported by our team, Workshop Assistants play a vital role in our creative workshops.
You'd be helping prepare materials for artist workshops, and supporting our artists in practical ways to make their work. We'd coach you to facilitate accessible workshops and support artists with learning disabilities and / or who are autistic.

Photography/Videography

Can you help us to capture and share the fun, creativity and playful nature of life at ArtWorks? From individual case studies, to group art projects, video vox pops at our events to documenting a volunteer placement - we want to communicate ArtWorks through image and video.
We'll give you a brief and support you to achieve it.

Exhibition Installations

Can you share your skills to help ArtWorks install high quality exhibitions that shift perceptions about disabled arts and artists?
ArtWorks produce exhibitions throughout the year in workplaces like The Circle and flagship venues like Millennium Gallery. We'd love your help to transform empty spaces into unforgettable experiences, exhibitions and installations.
