Part of a series exploring layered masking tape on painted surfaces, this work reveals the underpainting as tape is removed. Evans combines expressive mark-making with carefully chosen colour to create atmospheric, blended backgrounds. The process highlights the tactile, sensory qualities of paint, celebrating the unpredictability of layering and revealing, capturing experimentation and discovery.
A 50% deposit is paid through our store for artworks through ArtWorks Together 2026. The remaining 50% and additional fees such as packaging and postage will be arranged at a later date.
